Finland

I visited Finland, hoping to see the aurora for the end of the year holidays.
I couldn`t see the dramatic huge curtain in the sky as I had hoped, but saw a bit like some blue clouds floating. I hear it`s so difficult to see the aurora, maybe I`m lucky enough to be able to see that! Nothern Europe was SO cold, but as I love that place, it was a fun visit. All the sceneries that I saw was exactly what you see in the Moomin books!

I bought few down jackets for this trip, but for outdoor winter sports, they also lended me big down jacket. I was so puffy from all the down jackets when I rode the reindeer sleigh. The reindeer sleigh wasn’t so speedy, not so much fun… reindeers were so quiet and cute.
The dog sleigh was more speedy and much more fun! You need to control the 6 dogs to drive the sleigh, it was a bit difficult, but fun!
Thank you Finland for such a fabulous time!

Wakayama

I visited Wakayama, famous place in Japan for its cut&sewen factories. On the day I arrived, I visited Shima-seiki, very famous company for their original computer system knit wear weaving. During the day, I was presented by many presentations and gathered lots of inspirations, and for the dinner, Mr.Shima, the president, invited us to the dinner. It was a restaurant that Mr.Shima himself owned, very special place where takes only 1 reservation per day!
Mr.Shima is very fun man, the stories he told me were all so interesting. He`s so talented, such a special man! Thank you very much for the dinner.

The next day, I visited the cut & sewen factory. This is a photo of myself that was taken in front of the weaving machine. This is a special machine with leather ropes hung from the ceiling. It`s such a old machine that they have been using for a long time, there`s not much of the same machine left.

Then I visited a factory where make the next process. A photo of myself with the people at the factory.
