The other day, the Queen of the Night flower bloomed!
It’s a spectacular and fragrant white flower that blooms at night and closes during daytime.

I look forward to its blooming every year.

Tsumori Chisato & Petit bateau

Petit Bateau and Tsumori Chisato are collaborating for the 2nd time.
A party has been organized to announce it to the press.
I took a picture with Ms Fukuhara, the director of Petit Bateau and her press director Nicole.

They were both wearing a piece of the collection and looked gorgeous in it!
Nicole is half Australian and half Ukrainian and has been living in Japan for so many years that she speaks fluently Japanese.

Tsumori Chisato & Petit Bateau

I really enjoyed the handmade cakes and drinks at the party, in a very relaxing atmosphere.
I had the chance to let Ms Fukuhara know how happy I was to collaborate with Petit Bateau.

Tsumori Chisato & Petit Bateau

As we are surrounded by negative news around the world, I think ‘LOVE’ is the most important thing, and that’s why I designed those patterns.
‘Love’ was the theme of this collaboration with Petit Bateau and it turned out to meet my expectations.
This collection is available in stores so feel free to have a look at it!

Sedona

Saturday, June 9th, 2012

Sedona, Arizona is known as a spiritual mecca and global power spot so it was one of the places I’ve always wanted to visit.

Sedona

The tall red rock is called “Kachina Woman”.
I learned that there are 4 main energy vortexes in Sedona and this rock is believed to be the strongest in its spiritual power.
Also its energy is known to strengthen the inner power.

Sedona

There were many beautiful cactus around this area.

Sedona

I took this picture in front of the hotel.
The hotel was surrounded by the magnificent nature.

Sedona

There was a deer in the hotel garden. I had the chance to take a picture this close!

Sedona

Also there was some strange aligned stones. I heard that it was used by the Native Americans for their tribal ceremonies.

Sedona

This place is called “Bell Rock”.
This rock is the only one shaped like a giant bell.

Sedona

This long plant looking like a bamboo is used to make tequila.
There were many interesting living things in the desert.

Sedona

The fantastic view from the up rock was breathtaking.
I felt like I landed on a different planet and felt the tremendous power of the nature.

Sedona

The last place is “Horseshoe Bend”.
The Colorado river makes a gigantic bend more than a thousand feet below.
There were no hand rails or any other safety devices : it was scary but the extraordinary scenery was just amazing!

I was able to refresh myself and had a great time.
Visit Sedona if you have the chance!
