I think Italy is the world capital of food.
It’s famous for its rich flavors and delicious tastes, and one of my favorite thing to do during the trip was to have a great meal.
I went to a restaurant called OSTERIA AL MOLO 13.
This restaurant is very popular and you can order fresh seafood.
The inside of the restaurant had a great atmosphere: there were cute fish drawings and colorful paintings on the wall!

The paper bag with the restaurant’s logo and the cookies are very cute.

I tend to take pictures whenever I see something interesting so I always carry my iPhone and my camera with me.
In a different restaurant, I had a great prosciutto.

This picture even makes me hungry.

I went to a museum near the hotel and I realized, after taking this picture, how the color balance of the tiles and my coat’s collar’s were similar.

I ate many great food and was able to walk around the city so I enjoyed very much but got a bit tired.

After Paris Collection, I visited Milan for the International Footwear and Leather Show, Mikam and Mipel.
I walked around the city a little so I’d like to share some memories.

As I walk through the beautiful arcades, there is the famous cathedral Duomo stands.
It’s been 3 years since I last visited it.

It took about 5 centuries to complete it and it was built in a classic baroque style.
The inside Duomo is astonishing! It is a sacred space with magnificent stained-glass windows, massive paintings and sculptures.

I had a meeting with the Spanish espadrille maker, Gaimo.
Everybody was very kind and friendly and we had a great meeting.
Thank you all very much!
I’m looking forward to working with them next season again!

Cherry Blossoms

I went to Kofu to see the cherry blossoms.
It was a nice weather and TAKEDA Shingen Festival was held so there were many people.

I looked up to the tree and the color combination of the blue sky with the pink cherry blossoms was beautiful!

Cherry blossoms along the stone walls of the castle make a more attractive atmosphere.
I also went to the Shosenkyo Valley which is considered as Japan’s most beautiful gorge.

The power of the earth overflows in this valley.

The beautiful sight of Kofu city and Mount Fuji.
You can see Mount. Fuji very clearly.

I had the chance to spend a very quiet and relaxing day after the Paris Fashion Week and to have some rest.

Costa Rica #2

Cherry blossoms are everywhere and spring has finally arrived!

I’d like to share the memories from Costa Rica a little bit more with you.
There were many colorful vegetables and fruits at the market.
The ripe avocados with it’s beautiful color looks delicious!

Not just the groceries there were also party goods and sundries at the market.
The colorful pinatas which are used at the parties: they are so colorful and make me smile.

I saw an interesting horse with a white face!
It’s pretty rare and I was very lucky I got to see it.

I also enjoyed the jungle cruise!

You can recognize the print I made by adding some colorful birds and coconut trees turned into this dress. You can find it now in stores!

This print is also used for the Seiko Instruments advertising.

Costa Rica

For the Spring-Summer 2012 season (that you can now find in stores), there are many pieces with a Costa Rica’s inspiration.
The coconuts trees along the river were very powerful and amazing!

This colorful bird is called Quetzal, renown as one of the most beautiful bird in the world. The feathers are beautiful!
I didn’t have the chance to see a real one and this is just a postcard.

The colors of the sky are fantastic! I love this picture.

I designed a textile print full of memories I have from Costa Rica.

La Durée

It has been warm recently and started to feel like spring!

For the celebration of Laduree’s 150th anniversary, Laduree and TSUMORI CHISATO
collaborated and made cherry blossom flavor macaron and cherry blossom candle!

The macaron box and candle box are originaly designed and it’s imaged from a jewelry box.
It’s already sold in Paris and the display was very cute with cherry blossom
decorations!

Next picture is the display of Laduree shop in London.

In Japan, it is sold from today.

Don’t miss this chance!

Preparation For 2012-13A/W Paris Collection

Now, I am in the office at Paris preparing for tomorrow!

I wrote a message to Daphne who is a TV host and a fashion journalist in Paris. I hope she has already received it.

Cat’s Pop Up Store @ Bon Marché

Cat’s TSUMORI CHISATO pop-up store is now open at Le Bon Marche for a limited time.
There was a cocktail party to celebrate the opening of the store and many customers and people came.

The girl in the picture with the Cat’s style is very cool☆

The other picture is Ludovic who is the PR for Shu Uemura in Paris and is holding a Cat’s shopping bag.
He did my make-up for today!
